Just as predicted in many quarters, Madoka become one of the most popular series in 2011 and it seems that this will not stop for a while.
In fact there are rumors of a side story in the series (story apart from the original plot).
According to an article in the weekly Asukashinsha, Akiyuki Shinbo revealed he wants to work in "Madoka 2 ", a project will have to do with the original plot but it will be a different story.
It is mentioned in the article that although the original plot written by Gen Urobuchi is excellent, the characters well developed, Aoki Ume designs and excellent cast of voice actors motivate you to do a regular segment type slice-of-life where could see a more comforting version of history with bathing scenes, the romantic life of the teacher Kazuko Saotome or attempted Madoka's mother to join a company.
Shinbo explained that if you can, you would like to make a second season or a history side of the daily lives of the characters.
