What is the difference between an Akiba-kei and an Otaku?

Hello, today I want to bringing you a question that plagues me what the difference between a and akiba otaku? That what I do this? Easy to answer and made this subject to clarify all doubts as to this question because I read some comments about the difference between an otaku akiba and to begin to define what is a akiba otaku and many of you already know it an otaku or akiba but there are people like me who are confused in these two terms.

Definitions:

Akiba-kei:
Akiba-kei literally means "Akihabara style, "referring to a district of Tokyo where they are located malls electronics, manga, anime merchandise and other products designed for the taste of the otaku.

This term was popularized by the movie and TV series "Densha-otoko" issued in 2005, which shows the "virtual culture"of the present Japanese society.

Otaku:
A Japanese term to refer to people with an interest in anime, manga and video games. Western artist, the term "otaku"is used to describe one who is a fan of Japanese culture. While in Japan, is considered one word to refer to a fan for anything, although some people consider the use of the word offensive. (of course, nobody takes it as offensive, but there are some people that if they would take offensive). but both share the same hobby.

Well my dear otakus and Akiba I hope I have resolved their questions
