eart (Motto Kokoro ni Hoshi no Kagayaki) is one of the Japanese Manga by Hiro Matsuba.Life in the palace of course different with a life outside the palace.
This is one thing that now Akane realized, who is now under disguised as a palace servant, who have nick name in the palace as Katsura, although she herself is a daughter of the royal adviser of the palace.
One thing that makes Akane do that is solely to see her childhood friend, Aogi, who is served as a major general of the palace guards.
Unfortunately, her courage is not balanced with enough skills to become a servant, such as cooking, sweeping, cleaning room, etc.

Akane who is frightened suspected by Yakumo finally can meet her childhood friend that unrealizeable by her, has filled her heart, Aogi. Aogi feel dizzy by Akane`s careless action. But, nevertheless, Aogi promised to help Akane because of her sincerity.
Akane directly excited and promised will write letter for Aogi every day.
Akane days as a servant in the palace colored with various things.
Her relation ship with Aogi is also more intensified because they are more often met and exchange letter.
But, the relationship doesn`t walk smoothly without any obstacles, because there are people who don`t like them being together.
One of them is a beautiful servant named Kasuga, who spread gossip that she made a special relation ship with Aogi. Kasuga trapped Aogi so that Aogi atracted to her.
By chance, Akane saw them together by Kasuga`s plan and become misunderstanding.
That is the first time Akane feel jealous and the first time she realized that Aogi is the important and special person that has filled her heart.

And there is a problem too when Akane`s dad mad because of Akane`s disguise and get Takatsuki tounoben, minister`s son to help him bring Akane back home.
Unfortunately, Tounoben have bad intention to Akane.
By using Aogi`s name, Tounoben bring Akane to his home and almost raped Akane if there is no help from Yakumo that admire Akane. This made Aogi angry and punch Tounoben that made Aogi is being punished.
And there`s another problem when Aogi`s family matched Aogi with daughter of central minster, Chouko.
And there`s a secret about Aogi.
